Santiago: A Wonderful City

Santiago... Well I must say that I love my city, there are many places that I like and they are very special to me. There you can find characteristic spaces of a modern city, but also places of privileged nature. In my opinión there are many beautiful and interesting places to visit, such us the Palacio de la Moneda (Mint Palace), the Plaza de Armas (main square), the cathedral, the Pre-Columbian Art Museum and Casa Colorada are between the most popular sites. The Bellavista Bohemian Neighborhood stands out for its distinguished restaurants, art galleries, pubs and residences. Other neighborhoods which show off their modern buildings and quiet atmosphere are Las Condes and Providencia. Visiting San Cristóbal hill implies catching a beautiful panoramic sight of the city and touring around the Zoo. I also like Santa Lucía hill, Parque forestal, the Brazil neighborhood, the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes and the Lastarria neighborhood.

Another things is a food, if you are a food lover in Santiago you will find a variety of exquisite restaurants. You can go to the movies, to the theater, ride through a park, or if you enjoy winter sports, Valle Nevado, La Parva, Farellones, El Colorado and Lagunillas.. Finally, I would like to say… visit Santiago!

My holidays this year

In February of this year I went to Argentina on vacations with my parents and my boyfriend. We travelled around all Argentina by car.

First we went to Villarrica and then we travelled to San Martin de Los Andes. It's a beautiful and small town. We ate many delicious food, many meat, pastas (ravioli, spaghetti, etc.), pizzas and fishes...

A few days later we went to Bariloche, Villa la Angostura and Bahía Blanca. It was an exhausting trip. We spent the night in an confortable hotel in Bahía Blanca city. And the following morning, We began the trip to Villa Gessell. In Villa Gessell we stayed for 5 days. This place has beach and it was an ideal summer place. My dad and my boyfriend wanted to swim and they went to swim in atlantic ocean. Mum and me went with them. The water was tepid. It was incredible...

Finally and after a week, we arrived to Buenos Aires. I known that city because every years I visit this city with my parents. It is a big and interesting city, with a lot of people and a lot of stores...

I hate travelling by car but this trip was very very beautiful and unforgettable.

Earthquake

This Friday i went to viña with my friends Patricia and Claudia.
My boyfriend lives in Quilpue near to Viña.
We went to meet with my boyfriend.
This night my friends, my boyfriend and me went to party. We didn't know where to go and finally we decided to go to discoteque.
This place was very small and there were a lot of people.
We went upstairs on second floor. We were here when earthquake started.
I don't understood what was going on.
Then my boyfriend took my hand and he went downstairs.
My friends stayed in the sencond floor.
And when the earthquake finished they went downstairs.
This morning we called to our families because we known that they were worried.
